We’re off to Sochi in Russia – the venue for the 2014 Winter Olympics eight months ago – for a new addition to the Formula 1 calendar. Said to be a pretty fast track with two long straights, it looks like Sochi will again play to Mercedes’ strengths with Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg to fight it out for the win.
Many are also tipping Williams to enjoy a good race but we’re going to go with Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel to continue his recent good form with a third consecutive podium finish. After a horror first half of the season, Vettel is finally finding form and we like his chances of another good run – particularly if something goes wrong for one of the Mercedes.
