We’re off to Australia and the National Rugby League tonight for a Round 23 blockbuster between old rivals Parramatta and Canterbury. It’s only a month or so ago that Canterbury would have been red hot favorites to win this one but they’ve suffered a dramatic form slump in recent times and have lost star playmaker Josh Reynolds to suspension.
On the other hand, the Eels have now won three in a row with fullback Jarryd Hayne in unstoppable form and looking to carry his side all the way through the finals just as he did in 2009. The bookies have this clash marked as an even money bet but momentum and form says Parramatta by the length of the straight.
