It was a tough opening round for both of these sides in the NRL last week with Canterbury losing to Brisbane and Cronulla losing to the Gold Coast. That makes this game particularly important but the signs aren’t good for Cronulla, who will be missing injured captain Paul Gallen and have the distraction of an ongoing investigation into the possible use of performance enhancing drugs getting in the way.
The Bulldogs should be too strong here.
