It’s time for the men’s Giant Slalom at the Sochi Winter Olympics and although there are a number of worthwhile contenders in this event, we like the look of Austria’s Marcel Hirscher. Alongside American Ted Ligety, the pair have dominated the World Cup events this season but Ligety’s record in Olympic events is poor and he trails Hirscher overall in the World Cup standings.
