It wouldn’t have been lost on the Sydney Swans coaching staff that the last time they hosted North Melbourne – in Round 4 this year – they were belted by 43 points. But that was a very different Swans outfit and we all know that following that loss they embarked on a 12-game winning streak.
Now premiership favorites, it’s hard to see the Kangaroos being able to match Sydney tonight with the reward for victory being a spot in the 2014 AFL grand final. You sense that the visitors might have run their race after putting in huge efforts against Essendon and Geelong, while Sydney will be refreshed after a week off.
