What shaped as a potential NRL blockbuster just a month or so ago now pits two of the least impressive sides of recent weeks against one another in a game that doesn’t exactly wet the appetite.
With that said, the Bulldogs at least showed plenty of fight in a grinding win over Parramatta last week that kept their finals hopes well and truly alive, while the Tigers’ off-field problems have taken their toll on the field as well following two huge losses to North Queensland and the Roosters.
With their form and confidence shot and their finals hopes pretty much gone, it’s hard to imagine them being up for the fight in this one. Canterbury for an easy win.
