It’s Wimbledon time! The most prestigious tennis tournament of the year gets underway this week and we’re going to get in early for a bit of value on the overall men’s winner.
Novak Djokovic couldn’t quite get the job done against clay court master Rafael Nadal at the French Open but grass is an entirely different prospect. Although the Serb has rested his aching body since Paris, Nadal’s grass court season got off to a shocking start with a loss to lowly Dustin Brown in Halle and it looks unlikely he will challenge for another Wimbledon crown.
Djokovic’s main threats seem to be Andy Murray and Roger Federer, but we think he will prove too good in 2014.
