It’s hard to pinpoint exactly why it has gone so wrong for Manchester City in this year’s Champions League. Tipped to give the title a real shake, they instead find themselves last in their group with two draws and two losses from their four outings.
Incredibly, they are still in contention to progress given Bayern Munich’s complete dominance of the group, but the bad news is that it is the German giants visiting again tonight. City’s form has been inconsistent at best domestically of late and it’s hard to see them matching a red-hot Bayern side that has scored 33 goals and conceded just three since the start October.
