It wasn’t the ideal start for either Richmond or Carlton to the 2014 AFL season with the Tigers going down to the Gold Coast and Carlton to Port Adelaide. Both sides have a lot to prove this season and big questions remain as to whether they have the mental strength to fulfil their potential.
But, when it comes to potential, the Tigers look more likely to be the side on the rise and they will perform much better this week back on home soil against a dour old Blues outfit.
