England’s top two sides from the 2013/14 Premier League campaign renew their rivalry in the pre-season Champions Cup and although Liverpool would no doubt like some revenge, we’re sticking with Manchester City to prevail here.
They’ve been in irresistible form on their American tour so far, beating local side Sporting Kansas City 4-1 then dismantling AC Milan 5-1 in their Champions cup opener.
The Reds meanwhile have been somewhat up and down and with a number of new arrivals it is going to take them some time find their best form – especially with no Luis Suarez up front.
