We were tempted to give Rafael Nadal one more chance to reaffirm his standing as the king of clay following two early exits in recent events, but to be honest we much prefer the form of Switzerland’s Stanislas Wawrinka who won in Monte Carlo a few weeks back and of course gave Nadal a lesson in the Australian Open final in January.
The withdrawal through injury of Novak Djokovic is good news for all so with Wawrinka paying $5.00 for the tournament win we see him as representing great value.
