It’s semi-final time at the US Open and having enjoyed a good run of results so far in this event we’re going to stick with our man Roger Federer here against big-hitting Marin Cilic. Federer gave us a scare in his quarter-final when he trailed Gael Monfils two sets to love but even though he was having an off day he managed to turn it all around and win in five.
It’s unlikely that he will start so slowly again this time around – plus it will be interesting to see how Cilic reacts to just his second career grand slam semi-final. Federer should be too strong.
