Themed “The Rhythm of Life”, the Parade through Macau – Latin City features four giant puppets representing the guardian angels of childhood (love), youth (freedom), adulthood (harmony) and old age (peace). A Magic Tree and Magic Clock embrace the sentiment, spreading “love, peace and cultural integration” while a joyous and vibrant atmosphere pervades the parade route, which starts from the Ruins of St. Paul’s and will wind its way past St. Anthony’s Church, Rua de D. Belchior Carneiro, Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro, the Old Ladies Home (Albergue) and Rua de São Roque before culminating in a grand joint performance in Tap Seac Square.
