The Parish of St Lazarus will celebrate the Feast of St Roque – “patron saint against the plague” today with a solemn Mass at 09:30, followed by the Procession of St Roque around 10:20. The Procession – revived in 2008 – lasts about 40 minutes and will proceed through the streets of St Lazarus Parish to ward off disease and help the sick.
