Collotype * Recurrence – Spatial Convergence of John Thomson and Wong Ho Sang features over 200 wet plate photographs taken between 1868 and 1872 in far-flung Chinese cities by Scottish photographer John Thomson. To enrich the understanding of Thomson’s technique, contemporary Macau photographer Wong Ho Sang presents portraits, landscapes, architecture and still life.
