France’s Julien Tran has improved on his eighth-place finish in the inaugural Vietnam Poker Cup (VPC) Main Event in August, becoming just the second VPC champion with victory at VPC2 overnight.
Tran overcame a tough heads-up challenge from Sweden’s Erik Billgren — who reached the final table of APT Vietnam in May – to continue his impressive run at Ho Tram Resort Casino of late, taking home US$3,640 for his efforts.
Ho Tram Poker Room is gearing up for its most anticipated event of 2015 when the Asian Poker Tour returns from 16 to 25 November.
