China Rouge set to reopen

Written by Ben Blaschke

One of Macau’s most iconic night spots, China Rouge, will re-open its doors on 15 April after undergoing an extensive makeover.

The high-end bar and performance lounge, which aims to recreate Shanghai golden era of the 1930s, boasts stunning interiors inspired by seminal art deco painter and designer Erté, compelling works by leading contemporary Chinese artists and one of Asia’s most impressive bars.

The new China Lounge will also have a revised open door and booking policy and a more relaxing space for freer mingling to the sounds of first-rate jazz shows. It will also feature an exciting new cocktail selection and an extensive wine list.
