APT returns to the Venetian Macau

Written by Ben Blaschke

Just weeks after the success of the inaugural APT Vietnam, the Asian Poker Tour has announced that the hugely popular APT Macau will return this year in the Poker King Club’s (PKC) brand new poker room at the Venetian.

Subject to regulatory approval, APT Macau will be held from 21 to 29 July 2015 in what promises to be one of the region’s biggest events of the year. The news also comes just days after the PKC held the Grand Opening of its new permanent home in the Phoenix area of the Venetian’s main gaming floor.

PKC President Winfred Yu said, “We have recently moved our poker room operations to the Venetian Macau and what better way to celebrate than with an internationally recognized and highly popular poker week that offers the very best tournament action.”

APT events are quickly becoming a favorite of players due to their generous structures and players will be pleased to see the tour return to Macau this year after missing out in 2014.

APT CEO Jeff Mann said, “We have staged a number of very successful events in the past. Unfortunately, last year it did not happen which disappointed many players. We are delighted to be back working with two highly prestigious partners. For sure APT Macau 2015 will be a record breaking event for APT, Poker King Club and the Venetian Macau.”
