Australasian Gaming Expo previews spectacular new home

Written by Ben Blaschke

The Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) team and 120 exhibitors have been granted a first glimpse of Sydney’s spectacular new International Convention Centre (ICC) ahead of AGE’s upcoming move to its new home in 2017.

The AU$1.6 million property in Darling Harbour is due to open next month and will feature 35,500 square metres of space – around 19,000 square metres of which will be occupied by the new-look AGE in August.

Exhibitors were granted an exclusive preview in which they glimpsed the facility’s multi-purpose seminar rooms, enormous loading tunnel and an exhibition space described as “cavernous.”

The AGE has spent the past two years at a temporary exhibition hall on Glebe Island.
