Unlike other table game featuring progressive jackpots such as Caribbean Stud, “Golden Chip” baccarat requires no side bet, meaning the jackpot is always live whenever an eligible player is playing a hand.

The jackpot can be triggered by any player at any time with a total prize pool of HK$8,888,888 on offer across linked tables. However, the jackpot is only available to Golden Lion Club members so make sure you join before hitting the tables!

“Always at the forefront of innovative concepts, we strive to deliver original and diverse entertainment that offers something for everyone,” said MGM’s Executive Director of Business Development, Michael Jensen. “We are also constantly offering exciting and exclusive promotions to cater to the increasingly discerning tastes of our members. In the future, we will continue to launch more revolutionary products that will create an impact in the gaming market.”

Macau has long been at the forefront of gaming innovation, particularly when it comes to baccarat which now accounts for more than 90 percent of gaming revenue each year.
