Bangkok police arrested 62 people, including 52 women, following a raid on a mobile gambling house on Wednesday.

According to the Bangkok Post, Police swooped on a one-storey house that was surrounded by a two-metre high wall and double-locked iron door early in the evening, discovering an amateur casino in full operation with chips in play on the tables.

A total of 52 women and 10 men were arrested.

The house was found to be part of a mobile gambling operation that would base itself at a location for no more than two or three days at a time before moving to a new location in order to avoid arrest. Police acted on this occasion following reports from neighbors.
