The women’s final is on at Wimbledon tonight and it’s good to see some new faces there this time around. This is quite an interesting match-up pitching veteran Marion Bartoli against rising star Sabine Lisicki.
This is the first grand slam final for both of these players but we can’t go past Lisicki given her tremendous form over the past two weeks. Grass is easily Lisicki’s best surface and she showed she isn’t afraid of the big stage when she knocked out world number one Serena Williams in the fourth round. She also survived a marathon semi-final against Agnieszka Radwanska in the semi-finals so she should be ready for this final hurdle.
