The “most gold medals” race is always a fascinating one, especially this year with China and the US battling it out. The US are slight favorites with most bookmakers, so you should be able to get better than even money on the Chinese. I’m going for the Chinese – and not only because I would love to see the US lose. The US will be relying on picking up golds in hotly contested sports like swimming, whereas the Chinese will be sure to grab a swag of medals in events like diving and table tennis.
