The Majors are over for another year and now the players will start to concentrate on earning Fed Ex Cup points. The Wyndham Championship is the calm before the storm in that regard with points going up significantly after this weekend.
I always tend to take a lesser-known player after a Major weekend as I think they are hungrier than the seasoned pros who must find it hard to find that fire in the belly for a smaller tournament like this. Last year that theory was proved wrong with our favourite Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia coming away with the win here. I am going to go for another European in Belgium’s great golfing hope Nicolas Colsaerts. Colsaerts has been a little quite since his Ryder Cup heroics but he had a top 10 finish here last year and just needs to harness his incredible ability to go even better here in Greensborough.
