What a huge couple of days of rugby league we have in front of us. The Titans are the surprise packets of the NRL this season. Many pundits had them contending for the wooden spoon this year but I have always liked the makeup of this team. On a good day they are really good but they can also be putrid. Fingers crossed we get the really good Titans tonight.
It is a great time for the boys from the Gold Coast to meet the Melbourne Storm. The Storm without Billy Slater, Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk and Ryan Hoffman is not a gentle breeze but it is not the Category 5 Hurricane they are at their best either. The Titans will miss superstar Greg Bird but with home field advantage and the likes of Jamal Idris and Dave Taylor, the Titans should weather the Storm.
