Thankfully the three bye rounds in the AFL are over and we can get back to nine games every weekend. This is going to be tough for Carlton tonight against the mighty Sydney Swans but here is my rationale for tipping the Blues. One, they have been in reasonably good form of late. Two, they are coming off a bye so their preparation should be spot on, and three, Sydney has a short turn around after traveling interstate last weekend. We are also going to get a very healthy head start.
It’s very dangerous to back against well-drilled professional outfits like the Sydney Swans but the handicap is there for a reason and I think the Blues can get us a result.
