The UFC will be worth watching this weekend with Montreal superstar Georges St-Pierre taking on American Carlos Condit. There will be a full house of Québécois screaming for blood in what should be a great matchup. St-Pierre will start as favorite at around $1.30 and it will be a big upset if Condit wins. The lead up fights in the UFC are also entertaining to watch so don’t miss Kampmann and Hendricks as they take center stage. It should be a close one but Kampmann seems like excellent value at around $2.30.
The first Test between India and England starts in Ahmedabad on Thursday. The bookies are predicting a draw but the English appear to be incredible value at around $5.00. The Poms haven’t been playing their best cricket this year but the Indians are always a questionable proposition. If England can set a good score, Swann might wreak havoc late in the Test match.
It has been quiet in the NFL for the past few weeks but this weekend will be action packed. Baltimore will play Pittsburgh in a game which is hard separate since both teams are ripe for the picking. The Bears vs the 49ers will be a cracker of a game as both teams will be looking to bounce back after average performances last week. I like the 49ers in a tight one here.
Golf, tennis, basketball and football are also on the menu, so remember too much sport is never enough.
