There has been a veritable feast of football lately as clubs prepare for another weekend of games in their busy schedules. Chelsea and Man United both have danger games on the road and we will see if Reading can keep their charge going. We will also see Manchester City taking on Liverpool on Sunday in what will be the game of the week.
Super Bowl XLVII will hit Asia Pacific early on Monday morning. I will be sitting in front of the television with a few cold beers. If you have any interest in American football then this is a must-watch game. It is going to be a particularly fascinating Super Bowl for a myriad of reasons. The time for talking is over and now the football will decide who will hold up the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
The West Indian cricket team will start their Australian campaign this weekend in Perth. It’s going to be a baptism of fire for the tourists as I expect the Aussie pace attack will really bring it to the World Twenty20 champions. As I said in my tips, the Windies are a good limited-over outfit, but look to back them after they get away from the bouncy pitch in Perth.
