Big Jim's weekend wrap

Written by James Potter

It was all about the Tour de France this weekend. Bradley Wiggins and the rest of Team Sky have been incredible. For the uninitiated you could be forgiven for thinking there isn’t a great deal of tactics in cycling, but you’d be totally wrong. The team is responsible for looking after their champion rider, and I have seen no other team come close to providing the support Team Sky has given Wiggins.

Over the weekend Wiggins set the record for holding the yellow jersey for longer than any British rider in history, and it seems that only bad luck could deny him his first Tour title. I hope you took my advice and got on him when you could still get a good price.

David Haye seems to have eventually shut Dereck Chisora’s mouth by knocking out the ”British punk-assed joker” in the 5th round. To think these classless pretenders are at the forefront of heavyweight boxing is a joke. The UFC must love watching these pathetic boxing world title fights. The world needs some decent big men ready to punch each other for huge amounts of money.

Collingwood are back on track again in the Australian Football, so I hope you took my advice and put some money on them last week when you could get a big juicy price.

Good luck and good punting.
