Last weekend saw two of the big guns fall by the wayside. Chelsea lost to West Bromwich and United fell to Norwich. Those of you who backed the Sky Blue at the start of the season will have a smile on your face as City’s demolition of Aston Villa has seen them power to the top of the EPL table. Bring on Chelsea vs Man City next week!
In international rugby, all the teams from the southern hemisphere came out on top, apart from the plucky Argentines who went down to an impressive France. Samoa was able to defeat Wales in what can only be described as a massive upset. This means that France vs Samoa might be the most anticipated matchup next week.
It was another great weekend in college football with the top two ranked teams both losing. The undefeated Kansas State went down to Baylor, and the undefeated Oregon Ducks lost to Stanford. This incredible turn of events should see Notre Dame move to the top of the table, which would have been unthinkable at the start of the season. Alabama came back to form with a dominant performance over West Carolina which will put them back in second position. This comes just a week after it appeared they had butchered their chances of playing in the National Championship Game. What an amazing season!
