So Spain has conquered yet again! Sometimes you just have to give credit to greatness. Spain is a great football team and they had their destiny in their own hands. Only an under par performance was ever going to see them fail in their quest for Euro 2012. They were shaky against Portugal, but they never once looked like losing against the Italians.

Tiger Woods won his third tournament of the year. Many so-called experts have written him off but he continues to get the job done. The only difference is that now he gets it done most of the time, not all of the time like he used to. It’s sad that he’s not the sure bet he once was, but have no fear, he’ll rise to his former glory once again.

The Aussies are off to a bad start in the one-day cricket with England belting them in the first two games. It seems like it’s going to be a long and hard Ashes series for the Aussies as the Poms seem to be at the top of their game.

Speaking of hard times, Brett Ratten is not doing the Blues any favors. He is the worst coach in the AFL – a nice bloke, but better suited to doing anything but coaching. The Blues have to fire him or they’ll miss the opportunity of making a run for the Premiership.

Wednesday night is the deciding game between NSW and Queensland in the State of Origin. I think the NSW Blues have a real chance of winning the series … so get on them!
