The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena is set to host its latest blockbuster fight night with ONE Championship announcing its first ever Macau event ONE: Heroes of the World.
To be held on 13 August, the main event will see former ONE Flyweight World Champion Adriano Moraes take on elite wrestler Andrew Leone (both pictured) for the Interim ONE Flyweight World Championship.
Moraes is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt renowned for his powerful striking techniques. As champion, he dominated inside the cage but is now on the comeback trail to regain the title.
Other bouts include Australia’s Adrian Pang against Filipino Eduard Folayang, Hong Kong’s Eddie Ng against Honorio Banario and a mouth-watering heavyweight bout between Alain Ngalani – who trains out of Impakt MMA in Hong Kong – and Alexandre Machado.
“ONE continues its rise as the world’s most exciting mixed martial arts promotion with another massive fight card in Macau next month, said ONE Championship CEO Victor Cui. “We have some tremendous match-ups for fight fans out there.”
