Fine Chinese art visits Macau

Admirers of fine art could do worse than heading to the Venetian this week for the Masters in Painting – Contemporary Watercolors exhibition.

A total of 81 watercolor paintings by 39 renowned artists from Macau and Mainland China are on display until this Saturday 15 August showcasing some of Asia’s most esteemed works.

Macau artists include Poon Kam Ling, Ng Wai Kin and President of the Macau Artist Society Lai Ieng while China’s representatives include Liu Dawei, Wu Changjiang, Li Xiaolin, Zhao Yunlong, Tian Haipeng, Jiang Zhinan and Ding Sizhong.

The fourth consecutive year the Venetian has hosted the Masters in Painting series, the exhibition is not only aimed at showcasing outstanding Chinese art to the world but also provides an opportunity for local artists to learn from the best in China.

The exhibition runs from 11:00 to 19:00 every day this week and until 16:00 on Saturday. Admission is free.
