The dust has settled and with Macau’s latest mega resort now open on the Cotai Strip, the Galaxy Entertainment Group are all smiles.

The long awaited opening of the Galaxy Macau resort was big news in Macau. Not since City of Dreams opened in 2009 has there been such an anticipated opening. The visually amazing structure has captivated visitors to Macau and the property has received unanimous praise.

The doors opened at 4:51pm on May 15. In the first 90 minutes of operations 20,000 guests streamed into the property, which by anyone’s standards is simply astonishing. Commenting on Galaxy’s consistently high visitor numbers since its opening, Jane Tsai, Galaxy Macau’s Vice President, Marketing Communications said, “We’re exceptionally pleased with the strong response from the market for our integrated resort, in particular, for our Grand Resort Deck with skytop wave pool and white sand beach.”
