Good Food Guide: Capri Café Bistro

Written by The Panda

It seems more and more cafés have been opening in Macau recently and Capri Café Bistro, located in Old Taipa Village, is one of them. It has a blue and white theme and sells Italian food. Small in size, it offers a warm and comfortable atmosphere. When you try Italian food, how can you overlook risotto? The risotto provided here is not as thick as normal risotto and the rice is more than 60 or 70 per cent cooked. The reason the chef cooks the rice a bit more is to cater to the Asian taste.

The specially prepared sauces by the chef are very tasty. The pesto sauce has a lovely fresh flavor which is very enjoyable in the hot summer. As for the sauce for the tomato risotto, the chef uses his secret recipe seafood soup and adds fresh tomato. In addition, they provide Italian ravioli, snacks, baguettes and various kinds of desserts. When you order drinks, you can try their flower and fruit tea using Ahmad tea from England. There is fresh fruit in the tea which is fragrant and refreshing.
