Good Food Guide: Fondue Restaurant

Written by The Panda

Low price doesn’t necessarily mean low quality. Having recently closed for renovations, Fondue Restaurant offered a promotional dish when it reopened called Golden Roasted Chicken to attract new customers and welcome back the old ones.

The night I gave it a try almost every table had this dish on it – the whole room was filled with a rich chicken flavor!

The fragrant and hot roasted chicken comes out whole but the waiter will bring you a pair of kitchen scissors and rubber gloves so you can cut it up yourselves. It’s not big, but at just MOP$38 per chicken it is very good value. The chicken is very tender while the skin is crispy and perfectly seasoned. I wish there was no limit of one chicken per table!

Other dishes here are also remarkable – excellent in look, aroma and taste. The ingredients are sufficient but the prices are very affordable which is an added bonus. In the current Macau market where prices keep going up, this is quite rare.

One word of warning – you might have to hurry up if you want to taste this Golden Roasted Chicken as they may change their special at any time!
