Good Food Guide: Free Time

Written by The Panda

In the hot summer, the WGM team always craves Korean cold noodles which help us cool down, but rather than choose the more well-known Korean restaurants we decided to try this small Korean snack shop. A wall of the shop is plastered with guest comments and photos which provide a kind of warm feeling as the public praise is obvious. We ordered cold noodles but found the buckwheat noodle to be very thin and chewy in texture. The soup is cooked with cow bone, frozen and the oil scraped out, so it tastes a bit sweet. However, eating it with shredded cucumber and red cabbage alongside a few other ingredients made it fresh and delicious.

This shop is run by a South Korean man and although there aren’t many choices of dish they have all the classic Korean foods such as Bibimbap and Chicken Soup with Ginseng. Some very famous street foods such as Rice Cake and Fish Cake are also available, so give it a try!
