Good Food Guide: Hea

Written by Raquel Dias

If you work in the Nape area, you have probably seen Hea restaurant. Although the menu is not extensive, this little eatery offers a foreign-friendly variety with classic favorites from Spaghetti Bolognese to hearty burgers. It was a Thursday when I decided to have my lunch here. The daily special didn’t catch my attention despite being a great deal – MOP$78 for a rice or a burger plus a soft drink and a “Cake from France” – so I browsed the menu for alternatives and decided on the Pesto Chicken Mushroom spaghetti, a steal at MOP$68.

The first think I noticed was the portion, agood-sized pasta dish with a generous serving of meat. The Spaghetti was cooked as it should be and so was the chicken. It did remind me a little of my college days but you cannot expect too much when ordering Pasta and Pesto. Other options on the menu included grilled Rib-Eye with a variety of sauces – the most expensive option at MOP$238 – plus risottos, soups and burgers.

Whichever you choose, I’m sure the quality will be decent. The great selection of craft beers makes it attractive for a drink after work too.
