If you love authentic Japanese noodles, you should try this noodle shop in Taipa. They offer four flavors of noodles: Hokkaido miso, Kyushu miso, Shinshu miso and soy sauce. The Panda prefers soup with a strong flavor so ordered miso ramen of Hokkaido with pork slices. It was served in a very big bowl, with three large slices of pork and half a soft-boiled egg. The soup has a strong flavor and was steaming hot when it was brought to the table. The hardness of the noodles is just what The Panda likes – medium to hard and quite similar to what you will find in Japan!
The sliced pork was impressive too. It had a smoky flavor and the meat was very tasty. The pork slices were a bit fat but acceptable when eaten while hot and together with the noodles. The shop also provides other kinds of food and occasionally has seasonal choices. Due to limited seating in the shop, it is strongly suggested you get there early or make a booking!
