Apart from four or five star hotels, it is hard to find an Italian restaurant with an elegant and comfortable environment as well as the ability to make the taste buds dance. Well, there is no need to search anymore. When you walk into The Terrace you feel like you have been instantly transported to Italy! Having opened in early 2014, the interior is tastefully decorated and boasts a large outdoor dining space. It is located in downtown Taipa, which is rare, and it is a good choice for private parties or gatherings. The restaurant is currently open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
The lovely Italian cuisine includes osso buco in white wine, anchovy and caper sauce served with mushroom and pancetta risotto. Osso buco is a complicated cooking process whereby you make the meat soft through a long simmering process. The result is a delicious soup oozing through every bite while the dueling taste of the pancetta risotto is fantastic. There are also a variety of pizzas, a cheese platter and 36-month aged Spanish ham on the menu.
