Iconic Macau extravaganza The House of Dancing Water is about to turn five! First launched at City of Dreams in 2010, the spectacular water-based show has been seen by more than 3.2 million people over the course of 2,000 shows from all corners of the globe.

The House of Dancing Water was one of Macau’s first regular non-gaming offerings and has become a must-see for tourists as well as locals with City of Dreams having invited over 5,000 community members from 70 community groups to enjoy its visual wonder since its first show.

Ahead of the show’s fifth anniversary celebrations, the Director of the Macau Government Tourist Office, Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, said “Since The House of Dancing Water was launched five years ago, this world-class production has become the first and up till now the only and largest-scale regular water-based show in Macau, it is also one of the major entertainment highlights for Macau’s visitors.

The House of Dancing Water has enriched the non-gaming tourism elements of Macau, providing more choices of entertainment for residents and visitors and contributing to the diversification of Macau’s tourism industry.”

September looms as a huge month for Melco-Crown with The House of Dancing Water’s birthday celebrations expected to coincide with the opening of the company’s new property Studio City.
