Ice World with the DreamWorks Gang

Written by Yuci Tai

I visited Shrek and Princess Fiona’s family, I hugged Po from “Kung Fu Panda,” I was playing and having so much fun on the ice ladder with Alex and the gang from “Madagascar” and I had a wonderful and magical ice journey with the DreamWorks Gang. Why? Because I have just visited Ice World with the DreamWorks Gang at the Venetian Macau!

This is Asia’s biggest indoor ice event, with over 1,600 square meters of space, and returns to the Venetian following the incredible success of the last two years’ exhibitions. Crafted once again by famous Harbin craftsmen from the world-renowned Heilongjiang Provincial Ice and Snow Art Development Company Limited, this year’s exhibition will be themed after the unique DreamWorks Experience, with visitors able to view some of the world’s most famous animated characters sculpted from ice. I believe it’s a great place for DreamWorks animation to visit fans of family fun.

Ice World with the DreamWorks Gang also features the debut of the two newest characters to join the DreamWorks Experience at Cotai Strip Resorts — Tigress from “Kung Fu Panda” and Belt from “The Croods.” Both have been carved into ice.

Ice World opens to the public from 11:00 to 20:00 daily from 21 November 2013 to 16 March 2014 at the Venetian’s Cotai Expo Hall F. Tickets are priced at MOP$100 per person, with a minimum age of three required for entry. For more information visit www.venetianmacao.com/ice-world
