Las Vegas tourist attraction gets more action that it bargained for

Written by Ben Blaschke

What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. So it was for 21-year-old Chloe Scordianos who took the Linq observation wheel’s motto as “The happiest half-hour in Vegas” just a little too literally.

Scordianos pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge this week after being caught on video having sex in one of the attraction’s 28 giant glass cabins on 5 February, according to a report in the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The accused and partner Philip Frank Panzica III, who was shot and killed in an unrelated incident in Houston last month, ignored warnings from security to stop, with their actions caught on film by passengers in the next cabin.

Scordianos and Panzica aren’t alone in getting frisky on the High Roller ride, however, with a total of eight reports of indecent exposure since the attraction opened in 2014.
