Written by Ben Blaschke

Louis XIII is taking no chances in its pursuit of providing the ultimate luxury experience, sending its butlers to MCM Palace Consultants in Paris for extensive training in service, etiquette and entertaining.

The boutique hotel and casino, due to open on 1 July 2016, will feature 236 hotel rooms with its best suite tipped to cost around HK$1 million per night! In order to live up to its reputation for excellence, Louis XIII’s butlers will also receive additional training by the Guild of Professional English Butlers with those who successfully graduate to be awarded Associate Membership of the Guild!

“All Louis XIII team members are part of creating a refined and remarkable experience for our guests and we are going to exceptional lengths to ensure staff have the highest skills and expertise required,” said Louis XIII joint Chairman Stephen Hung.

“The Butler training in Paris is an example of our pledge and commitment to the development of our valued staff, which is an essential and integral part of creating, from Macau, one of the world’s leading luxury brands. We want to redefine what a luxury experience means to our guests while also transforming the aspirations of the Macau citizens who make these experiences happen”.

One of Louis XIII’s butlers, Emily Chan, said “I’m impressed by the unparalleled level of training Louis XIII provided throughout, from the smallest detail such as the greeting of guests to learning specialty knowledge like wine pairing and the skill of anticipating guests’ needs. I am confident that future Louis XIII guests will be equally impressed by our refined services.”
