What better way to wind down from a hard day’s conferencing than by going to a party? Better still a pool party with girls in bikinis frolicking around and getting wet!

As we mentioned in the last issue of WGM, G2E Asia is held every May at the Venetian Macau. It’s the one gaming industry conference of the year that almost all Asian gaming stakeholders attend, be they operators, gaming equipment manufacturers, academics or the media. The days are long and the networking intense, as everyone tries to cram as much as possible into three days.

G2E consists of presentations, panels and working breakfasts and lunches, not to mention an enormous exhibition of gaming products. But just as important, or perhaps even more important, are the parties. This is where all the serious networking gets done. There is a tradition of gaming equipment manufacturers throwing parties at G2E. This year local Macau and Hong Kong based manufacturer LT Game got in on the act, hosting a pool party at the pool deck of one of City of Dreamssignature restaurants, mezza9.

The big international e-gaming manufacturers have dominated the Macau market for some years, but recently LT Game has really set the cat among the pigeons with their latest machines, which you can play at the Imperial Stadium multiplayer live dealer installations at Sands Macau, Venetian and Sands Cotai Central. Rumor has it we’ll be seeing more of LT Game’s live dealer terminals on the Macau gaming scene in the future.

It was a smart move by LT Game to throw this party in conjunction with their stand at G2E. In a conference as large as G2E, it can be hard to stand out from the crowd and be noticed. What better way than to invite key industry players to a fun night out to let their hair down? And the girls in bikinis getting splashed didn’t hurt either!
