Mini Macao World Heritage

Written by Yuci Tai

Would you like to appreciate the multiple sites of Macau’s World Heritage all in the one place? Now it isn’t difficult at all.

In celebration of National Day, the 8th anniversary of Macao’s historical sites inscribed on the World Heritage List – and on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (SJM) as well as the sixth anniversary of the Grand Lisboa, the Grand Lisboa presents the “Macao World Heritage Paper Carving Exhibition“.

The exhibition is by Ms Wu Ching Fang, the renowned Taiwanese artist having created a 2.5D paper carving of Macao’s preeminent entertainment landmark – the Grand Lisboa! Her creations also bring to life some of Macao’s most popular World Heritage sites including A-Ma Temple, the “Leal Senado” Building, Senado Square, Sam Kai Vun Kun (Kuan Tai Temple), the Ruins of St. Paul’s, Na Tcha Temple and Guia Fortress.

Grand Lisboa is launching two promotional campaigns during the exhibition period, offering visitors the opportunity to win attractive prizes. “Photo Sharing Fun” will be held from 12:00 to 18:00 daily. Participants will receive a prize redemption ticket by uploading a photo of the exhibit onto their social networking websites.

Visitors can also join the “Grand Lisboa Discovery” promotional campaign by counting the number of Grand Lisboa logos hidden in the exhibits, completing the entry forms with the correct answer and depositing them into the designated boxes located at the exhibition area and on the second floor of Grand Lisboa. Entry forms will be distributed in Grand Lisboa Piazza, various Macau locations and the Grand Lisboa shuttle buses from 12:00 to 18:00 daily. Ten winners will be drawn from those who have the correct answer, and each will be awarded prizes worth over MOP$5,000 including one nights accommodation at Grand Lisboa Hotel, a dining coupon and cash.
