The who’s who of Macau’s VIP social and entertainment scenes…

There is never a dull moment in Macau and that has certainly been underscored lately with a huge array of high-profile parties and events. The iGaming Asia Congress saw the gaming world converge on Macau and while the days were filled by panels and keynote addresses, the nights provided a chance for all to let their hair down.

City of Dreams celebrated an entertainment milestone with the 1,000th performance of its popular “The House of Dancing Water” extravaganza. The 2,000-strong audience who attended the festivities were thrilled by a special performance from actress and singer Angelababy who teamed with the show’s performers to mark the momentous occasion.

The Beach Boys put on their own spectacular show at The Venetian in March, travelling to Macau for the first time ever. And speaking of putting on a show, China’s two-time Olympic gold medallist Zou Shiming did just that in his pro boxing debut with a win over Eleazar Valenzuela in one of the most anticipated sporting events in years – the arrival of big-time boxing to Macau.
