The who’s who of Macau’s VIP social and entertainment scenes…
Legendary rock band The Rolling Stones rocked Macau as part of “The Rolling Stones 14 on Fire” tour with their first-ever concert here at The Venetian Macau’s CotaiArena. Members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood took the stage to an overwhelming response, while former member Mick Taylor appeared as a special guest. The high-energy concert kicked off with “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”, while other timeless tunes the audience was treated to included “It’s Only Rock and Roll”, “Wild Horses” and “Doom and Gloom”.
Popular Hong Kong male singer Eason Chan also returned to CotaiArena after four years for his concert “Eason’s Life”. He kicked things off with “One thing a day” followed by “Flower world” and “That’s just life”. The show’s stage décor and lighting expertly complemented Chan’s infectious energy and on-stage magnetism. The enthusiasm of the audience was palpable – fans seemed to be out to share a live karaoke session with their singing idol!
Meanwhile, Sands China announced the spectacular stage production Monkey King while also celebrating DreamWorks Animation’s latest 3-D feature film “Mr Peabody & Sherman“.
