The who’s who of Macau’s VIP social and entertainment scenes…

It’s been a busy time for partying and events in Macau. Specialist high stakes tournament poker player David Steicke held a lavish 50th birthday party at Galaxy Macau’s China Rouge, which included a WGM-sponsored Miss Poker Princess pageant, won by Dora Peng of Shenzhen. Dora will represent WGM at various ladies poker tournaments in Macau in 2013. The Poker King Club‘s third anniversary party was also held at China Rouge.

The 59th Macau Grand Prix was run and won, and as always there were plenty of parties around town to celebrate. The world-famous UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) came to China for the first time, with a successful event held at the Venetian’s Cotai Arena. An upset result saw Vietnamese-born American Cung Le knock out Rich Franklin in the first round of the main event. Click here for our full story on the UFC event.
