The Panda had built up an appetite after hitting the tables all day so he headed for a quick bite on the Venetian gaming floor. Sometimes quick, easy and wholesome is all that is required.

I am not the gaming fanatic that some of my fellow WGM gang members are like The Dragon and The Eagle but I do enjoy squeezing out a couple of natural 9s from time to time. Macau is an amazing place on many levels and it is no different when it comes to food. You can find anything from street fare and McDonalds to popular local hangouts and even Michelin Star accredited establishments. The secret is to choose the right place for the right time.

Many people hitting the gaming floor don’t have a lot of time to waste, or simply want to get back to the tables in a hurry! After all, the average stay in Macau is much shorter than other gaming destinations and many visitors talk in hours rather than days or weeks. Personally, I consider dining to be the most important part of the day, but there are plenty making the pilgrimage to Macau who view it as little more than a necessity. Let’s face it, you can get a bowl of noodles anywhere but you can’t play on the world’s largest gaming floor every day. For the thousands of people who think this way, Red Dragon Noodles is the perfect haunt.

Red Dragon Noodles is not fine dining but then again it’s not meant to be and as I have said before, you have to judge apples with apples not apples with oranges. This is good, honest Chinese cuisine. There is a great selection of food, it’s well priced, it’s situated right off the main gaming floor and, most importantly, the service is quick!
